Security Procedures & Prohibited Items

Safety is one of the highest priorities at the US Open and we take reasonable steps to ensure the safety of everyone entering through the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center gates. For that reason, several important security measures are implemented, together with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.

US Open Bag Policy:
There will be a limit of one bag per guest admitted onto the Grounds. All bags are subject to search and must not be larger than 12” W x 12”H x 16” L (Size exception if larger size necessitated for ADA/medical equipment reasons, to be confirmed by Security Supervisor). Backpacks are not allowed. (Exception: single compartment drawstring bags. There are no bag storage facilities on the Grounds. However, for a nominal charge, there are bag storage facilities located outside the Main Entry and the Champions' Gate entrances.
