1995: Alexander Zverev is the first men’s singles US open semifinalist from Germany in 25 years.
2: Numbers of players who have still not dropped a set at the 2020 US Open: Daniil Medvedev and Jennifer Brady.
10: Number of consecutive wins that Victoria Azarenka has recorded since the Western & Southern Open began.
3: Number of consecutive three-set matches that Serena Williams has won at the 2020 US Open. The six-time Open champion is 73-20 lifetime in deciders at the majors and 17-4 lifetime in deciders at the US Open.

2013: By defeating Elise Mertens on Wednesday, Azarenka has reached her first Grand Slam semifinal in seven years (2013 US Open).
9: Number of break points Daniil Medvedev has faced through his first five rounds. The Russian has won 96 percent of his service games at the US Open (65/68), which leads all players.
94: Number of aces struck by Denis Shapovalov, which leads all players through five rounds. Alexander Zverev is second with 92.
64: Percentage of return games won by Azarenka (28/44), which leads all players through five rounds.
6: Matches that lasted over four hours at the 2020 US Open, two of which featured Borna Coric.
2014: The last time a maiden Grand Slam men’s singles champion was crowned at the US Open. Marin Cilic took the title that year—this year all four semifinalists are also looking for their first major title.

38: Serena Williams is the oldest player remaining in either singles draw.
2004: The year that Gaston Gaudio became the last player not born in the 1980s to win a men’s singles Grand Slam title, at Roland Garros. After 63 consecutive Slams won by players born in the 1980s, one of the four men’s singles semifinalists will become the first player born in the 1990s to win a men’s singles Grand Slam title.
79: Number of forehand winners struck by Pablo Carreno Busta through the quarterfinals. The Spaniard leads all players in that statistic. Petra Kvitova, who played only four rounds, is second with 71.
7: Countries represented in the men’s and women’s singles semifinals: USA, Austria, Belarus, Germany, Japan, Russia, Spain.
46: Length of the longest rally of the US Open, played by Gilles Simon and Taylor Fritz in the second round. Alizé Cornet and Tsvetana Pironkova played the longest rally on the women’s side, a 40-stroke rally in the round of 16.
8: Number of consecutive Grand Slam quarterfinals that Australian men have lost after Alex de Minaur lost to Dominic Thiem on Day 9. Lleyton Hewitt, is the last Australian man to break through and reach the last four at a Grand Slam at the 2005 US Open.
