Ron Haywood Jones is one of 18 Black and BIPOC artists selected by the USTA to create an art installation transforming the front-row seats in Arthur Ashe Stadium for the 2020 US Open. The original art exhibit is part of the launch of the USTA's Be Open initiative and represents a bold commitment to advance inclusivity and diversity through tennis.

About the Artist: Ron Haywood Jones is a Detroit native who studied illustration at Arizona State and Parsons School of Design. He has done editorial art for print and textile design. He currently lives and works in the New York City area.
About the Artwork: With close to 200,000 deaths from COVID-19 in the US alone, people are saying enough is enough. They march for justice while risking health to bring a change.
